"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." — Acts 2:42

Across the world, something remarkable is happening. The Times of London recently highlighted how many—especially younger generations—are embracing “full‑fat faith”: not watered‑down, not casual, but a robust, vibrant Christianity that offers meaning, beauty, and belonging in a confusing age. This unfolding movement is being described as a quiet revival—not led by flashy events or headlines, but by everyday people hungering for more.

And we feel this same revival stirring right here at Willerup Church.

People aren’t satisfied with superficial spirituality. They want depth. They want a faith that challenges them, matures them, and carries them through life’s storms. They want “more.”

At Willerup, that “more” is found in:

  • Worship that unites our hearts and generations,

  • Life Groups where Christ-honoring friendships form and faith matures,

  • Classes that stretch and broaden understanding,

  • Serving opportunities that carry Christ’s love into a broken world.

How Do We Get Ready for the “More”?

  1. Life Groups: Belonging and Growth at All Ages (Children, Youth & Adults)

Our Life Groups gather weekly—not just to hang out, but to support each other, pray, and grow together. Spiritual maturity blossoms in these authentic, cross-generational relationships. Contact andrea.kendall@willerupchurch.org to get connected for adults and  shauna.bauhs@willerupchurch.org to get connected with Next Gen Ministries. (Children and Youth!) Friends matter. Friendship is what carries us through!

  2. Classes: Faith That Stretches

These aren’t passive lectures. Our classes are designed to deepen and stretch your faith—inviting honest questions, deeper understanding, and bold growth. Contact pastor@willerupchurch.org for more information. New classes are starting!

  3. Worship, Prayer Team & Serving: Rooted and Reaching Out

Worship grounds us in Christ. But service empowers us to embody His love—not insulated from the world’s confusion, but reaching into it with compassion. Consider if God is calling you to volunteer for Community Care and Congregational Care teams.

What’s Happening in the U.S. Too

This is not just a British phenomenon. In the U.S., Barna’s State of the Church 2025 data shows that 66% of American adults now say they've made a personal commitment to Jesus that remains deeply important, representing a 12‑point jump since 2021—the largest increase in more than three decades, led significantly by Gen Z and Millennials www3.trincoll.edu+15Barna Group+15amintl.org+15The TimesWikipedia. This trend signals a growing spiritual revival—a hunger for more—taking root across generations.

Keep the Invitations Going Out

Revival often begins with an invitation. That’s why we encourage you to continue inviting others—no strings attached—just come and see. Whether it’s bringing a neighbor to worship, introducing a child to AWANA, inviting a student to CREW, or encouraging someone to join a Life Group or class—don’t give up. Even if the first response is “not yet,” it may one day become a resounding “yes!” The Spirit is stirring; your open invitation might be exactly what someone needs.

Why This Vision Matters

  • The Quiet Revival Is Real—in the UK and the US. Across both cultures, there's a growing spiritual hunger, especially among younger adults, that’s drawing them back to Jesus amintl.org.

  • Every Generation Needs Maturity. Children, youth, adults, and seniors all bring unique strengths—and all need growth. A strong Body of Christ grows when all generations engage.

  • The World Needs Witness. In a culture searching for meaning, kindness, and truth, we can show the way through faithful devotion and compassionate serving.

This is not just a moment—it’s a movement. A quiet revival is happening, and Willerup is part of it. God is calling us into more: deeper worship, richer learning, stronger fellowship, and bolder service.

When each part of the body does its work, the Body of Christ grows stronger. Here at Willerup, we believe strength grows in the places where we sweat—through worship, prayer, study, and serving side by side.

Come and be part of this revival. The world is hungry for more. Let’s show them where it’s found.

"From him the whole body… builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." — Ephesians 4:16
